TU Delft webcare on Whatsapp

In January 2015 I wrote about our first attempt to use Whatsapp for webcare/online service TU Delft. The attempt failed because the web app was useless when working with a team and only one phone. The inevitable happened: Our webcare tool OBI4wan integrated Whatsapp as a source.

The big advantage of Social Customer Service through Whatsapp is the fact that a Whatsapp conversation is a private one.

So, as of today TU Delft is on Whatsapp for all your questions about housing, admission procedures, inquires about how to contact someone in the university or whatever question you may have the university might be able to answer. The webcareteam will answer get in touch with you within the hour during “opening hours”. Webcare TU Delft is available from 9AM until 12PM, 7 days a week. The mobile phone number is only used for Whatsapp, not for voice conversations.

We’re going to use Whatsapp to respond to questions we’re being asked. We’re investigating the possibilities to use Whatsapp for events.
